Dr. Tasneem Saleem is Specialist in General Surgery at Wellness One Day Surgery Center. Graduating in medicine from Jinnah Sindh Medical University, Pakistan in 1985, she completed specialist training in general surgery in 1991, becoming a member of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, UK in 2007.

Having three decades of experience as a general surgeon, she started her practice in General Surgery in Civil Hospital & Dow University of Medical Science, the biggest public tertiary hospital of Karachi and other reputable hospitals for many years, progressing to the post of Associate Professor of Surgery. In 2003, she moved to Saudi Arabia to join a hospital for women’s health in Unaiza. Moving to UAE in 2008, she served in various government and private hospitals across UAE including Zulekha Hospital Dubai, Umm al Quwain Hospital, and Saudi German Hospital, Ajman before joining Wellness One Day Surgery Center in 2023.

She has many research papers and presentations in symposia to her credit. Acquiring vast experience in women’s health, she has managed and treated many conditions such as breast diseases, and trained in minimally invasive proctology.
